The eighth grade class of Holy Name of Jesus School embarked on a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
As school resumed in August we entered into the one hundred and first year of classes at St Anthony Indian Mission. The use of that idiom “101” usually denotes something basic principal on which to build something larger or greater.
In this our 101st year of school we are trying to recover normalcy of routine, but with new challenges as long term members of staff have finally retired.
Nativity Prep held their Annual Promise Dinner at The Harvard Club of Boston. It is an evening dedicated to celebrating and empowering the young men and alumni of Nativity Prep.
As the school year comes to an end, we take time to celebrate our students and all of their accomplishments from the school year. This year we had all twenty of our eight grade students graduate.
St. Francis of Assisi School in Lumberton, NM welcomed the new school year 2023-2024 with 2 new co-principals. Principal Elena Talamante is an alumna of St. Francis and had been serving as the 7th and 8th grade teacher for 2 years before her appointment.
St. Francis Parish is located in a valley surrounded by forests, in the center of the Whiteriver Apache Reservation in Arizona.
The African American Commission sponsored sending 10 delegates to the National Black Catholic Congress XIII on July 21-23, 2023.
Currently, the diocese has just 10 priests to serve all of its 38 rural churches across western Alaska, with one part-time priest from Michigan who flies to the most remote villages.
