Sacred Heart Catholic School
Sacred Heart Catholic School has had a very exciting spring so far with Bike to School Day, a Jumprope/Hoops for Heart event, Annual Spring Showcase/Science Fair/Art Show, a visit from the Easter Bunny, the middle school students participating in our annual Cardinal Invitational, visiting the High School FFA Petting Zoo, the 8th grade Class Trip to Wisconsin Outdoor Leadership School, May's Crowning of Mary Mass, Live Stations of the Cross presented by students in grades 2, 3, and 5, a trip to Madison for our 4th and 5th grade classes, and a weeks’ worth of celebrating Dr. Seuss and literacy!!
Sacred Heart Catholic School is dedicated to enriching the lives of its students by offering a faith-filled environment that supports the academic, social, physical, behavioral, and spiritual development of each child. Through the various classroom, school, and community wide projects, events, and activities listed above, the students and families at Sacred Heart Catholic School experienced a one of kind education that was packed into just a few months of the spring season of this school year. The students were more engaged in learning about the great gift of Easter when they took on presenting the Stations of the Cross, and they cared more about the history of Wisconsin once they got to visit the History Museum in Madison to visually see the pieces of history they had learned about in their classrooms. The 8th graders received first hand experiences working as a team and learning about the importance of trust, cooperation, and bravery while participating in an adventure zip line. These off campus experiences offered our students much more than any book could or classroom lecture can on its own. It took the great information shared by their amazing teachers and made it real world applicable. It made the information relative and ‘cool’. Our goal at Sacred Heart Catholic School is to create lifelong learners, who grow a true love for learning and for Jesus!
