St. Ann Parish
St. Ann Parish in Baraga, MI extends their appreciation to the Black and Indian Commission for supporting the parish through a rural parish subsidy. Grant money has been used to support a new air conditioning and interior air ventilation project in the church. The new AC system will provide for a more comfortable environment for parishioners and visitors who attend weekend and daily Mass as well as the 26 hours of Eucharist adoration held during the week. Grant money will also be used to offset the cost of installing a prayer garden to be constructed later this spring 2020. Both projects will provide a more welcoming church for parishioners and the many visitors who come to the area for community and Native American festivals held throughout the year.
