Between online and individual family meetings, St. Francis Mission has continued to prepare people to receive the sacrament of Baptism.
Blessed by the support of the Black and Indian Mission Office, the program, Tolton’s Legacy: A Road May to Unity – 2020 Vision was sponsored by the Office of Black Catholic Ministry at the Archdiocese of Denver in recognition of National Black Catholic History Month on Saturday, November 14, 2020.
At the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, West Catholic High School teachers and administrators introduced families to the Households System. St Kateri Mission Church remains grateful to the Black and Indian Missions who keep us within the ministry of Fr Francis and Fr Fabian. Those who can travel to Mass from time to time and visit St Mary’s in Arcata.
Although this school year started off very differently and with challenges due to the pandemic, our students, teachers and staff have remained focused on education. St. Peter Claver is conducting school both virtually and in-person while implementing new safety protocols. Our students and staff have adapted with resilience and a positive attitude.
Safely celebrating around the Diocese.
