On Friday, March 2 through Sunday, March 4, the Office of Multicultural Ministries supported several members of St. Joseph of Alexandria who attended "Kujenga", a leadership building youth retreat in the Diocese of Richmond.

As we come to the end of lent and the beginning of the Easter season, it is an excellent time to look back and reflect where we have been this past year.

At St. Anthony de Padua School, we utilize the Daily 5/CAFÉ literacy structure for Language Arts/Reading.

Fr. Joel Jores, Fr. Francis Zurbano, and Dcn. Mark Fuller, along with their colleagues have continued to increase their outreach to their parishioners, the Menominee Indians.

Our congregation at St. Kateri Tekakwitha held a wonderful Pre-Lent Retreat led by Father Andrew Pacheco and Mary Lou Davis. We called it “Here I am to Worship”.

The St. Augustine Indian Mission, founded in 1909 by St. Katharine Drexel and serving the Omaha and Winnebago Indian Reservations.

One highlight of Black Catholic History Month in the Diocese of Arlington came during the Annual Day of Reflection and Unity Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.

Every November, Black Catholic History Month is celebrated across the nation. The Diocese of Arlington, through the Black Catholic Ministry, makes a special effort to celebrate this month.
