It’s been a wonderful year, following the 2018 grant to the African American Ministry in the Archdiocese of Newark. Below is a summary of all we have been doing during the year.
St. Joseph Apache Mission is located in the heart of the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation’s business district in South-central New Mexico. More than twenty years went into the building of St. Joseph Apache Mission.
About 100 individuals attended the Ge’ez Rite Divine Liturgy at All Saints Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI. The celebrant was Fr. Eyassu D Kahssay from the Washington DC area.
Because of the generous contributions from the Black and Indian Mission Office, the Office of Worship had the ability to offer programs in faith formation, outreach and evangelization.
Approximately 250 people gathered for the 11th Annual Ugandan Martyrs Liturgy presented by the African Catholic Committee of the Black Catholic Ministry Commission.
Throughout my life I have heard the expression that angels and saints come in many shapes, sizes and colors. I know this to be true, and Sr. Juanita Little, OSF is an angel and saint, although she would tell you different.
April showers bring May flowers. During the month of May at St Peter Claver Catholic School in the Heart of Georgia we welcome the most precious flowers in Our Lord’s garden.
St. Lucy’s parish in Syracuse NY held their annual St. Kateri Tekakwitha Spring Mass on Saturday April 27, 2018. The mass combines both English and Mohawk languages.
ENGAGEMENT has been high this past spring among St. Patrick’s, Franklin, PA students! MIND, BODY, SPIRIT -- all are part of the latest three activities involving St. Pat’s students: Firstly, the annual religious education contest.
