The beginning of a new school year can be nerve wracking, especially when you are beginning Pre-K and K-3. For the children at Ysleta del Sur Pueblo that new experience got under way on Monday, August 5.

Marian High School was blessed to be able to offer scholarships to several African American students because of the generosity of the Black and Indian Mission Grant.

During Lent, sixty members of the parish completed the “Jesus and the Eucharist” series in March 2024. All who attended stated that they really enjoyed the lessons on Jesus and the Eucharist series.

The summer has been exceptionally hot here at Saint Stephens Indian Mission, with temperatures soaring to nearly 100 degrees.

Lighting the teepee that we built in our Circle Drive Courtyard is another way in which we connect the traditional Arapahoe and Shoshoni traditions in with our Catholic faith.

On Sunday, June 23, 2024, was Monsignor Chanel's last Mass at Saint James Catholic Church. Monsignor Chanel served our community with a caring, compassionate, understanding heart for nine years.
