In July, 2018, St. Patrick Parish, along with other neighborhood churches, businesses, schools and residents initiated the Oak Hill Neighborhood Association. The association hosts a Fall Harvest Fest in the fall for the neighborhood.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington held its annual Mass celebrating the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022.

One of the best days of the school year for our Monroe students is RAMS Day. The day before Thanksgiving is spent on Random Acts of Mercy and Service both in the school and throughout the community.

Each year our students perform in two concerts: one at Christmas, and another in the spring. Our recent performance utilized the talent of every Saint Rita student.

Thanks to the Black and Indian Mission grant, the Basilica School of St Paul can hire a Guidance Counselor to meet our students social, emotional, academic, and physical needs. Here is our school counselor, Mr, Mac.

Mr Mac, our School Guidance Counselor can be seen working with our teachers and students providing classroom guidance lessons. Here in our 4th grade, Mr Mac is working the students through a series of lessons about kindness.

As modern as the world becomes, students at Immaculate Conception stepped back to the earlier days of the church this school year. The school's new priest Fr. Jake reintroduced the use of the church's altar rail this school year.

Our Lady of Guadalupe has been enjoying the beauty of the month of May and the fun associated with the end of the school year.

During this school year, Holy Family Academy has explored several activities including celebrating: Black History Month, Dr. Suess Birthday, and Adams County 9-1-1 Operators.
