Each year we have an annual Christmas party for the seniors in our community. SPC youth help out each year with this event by preparing senor gift bags.

It has been another productive quarter at St Kateri Tekakwitha. On Saint Patrick’s Day we had a special Corned Beef Lunch for the congregation as well as some visitors.

The door of our new church opened after thirteen years on March 3, 2019 and was dedicated by Most Reverend Louis Kihneman, III, Bishop of the Catholic Dioceses of Biloxi.

We are very grateful for the Black and Indian Mission Grant which enabled us to bring Sister Kateri Mitchell to Lakewood, Co. for our Lenten Retreat. The participants in the Retreat were very comfortable and pleased.

Children are our future and a Catholic education provides the excellent academic preparation needed to excel in today’s world.

This past year a historical blessing fell upon the local indigenous tribes of the Archdiocese.

In our year-end celebration parents and children at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception gathered to review the year.

Saint Columba Church has a rich history of helping evangelize the African American community in Prince George’s County.
